TVXQ have sold over 12 million records in both Korea and Japan.Their 2008 Korean-language album Mirotic has set a new record for one-week sales in South Korea, a record the group still holds today. In Japan, TVXQ are the first foreign group to sell over 3.1 million singles, and are the first foreign artist to achieve over ten number-one singles in Japan. Selling over 7.4 million records and DVDs in the country, TVXQ are the second best-selling K-pop artist in Japan.
